Prior to picking up my S22 Ultra 5 days ago the reviews kinda and almost stopped me from making the purchase. After the purchase and not having any of the issues I read about could it be 90% could be user error?

There were some problems with earlier firmware versions but after bigger updates in march and may they were ironed out. I bought it by end of may and everything worked fine since then.

I think 90% is ridiculously high & quite condescending.

It's easy to blame the user & frankly, a scapegoat.

Obviously, there is user error, but 90%?
Not buying it...

Just for the record, I'm not having any issues with my s22U. Hard to put it down.
:)

That's very true. New releases also seem to have hiccups & it tends to take a bit to iron them out.

Glad you had no issues with yours!
:)

I just read some of the reviews and the fix is common sense if you understand Android devices.

I understand now.

I just reread your original post. I thought you read a published article stating that 90% of problems were user errors therefore making Android users look stupid. That's what I thought was condescending. A published article with no way to prove it. I realize I miss-interpreted your statement. I apologize if you thought I directed my comment to you personally. It wasn't.

I'm glad everyone is on the same page here. The reason I like Android Central so much is because members are so friendly and polite. :)

I read so many simple problems with the s22 ultra before I made the purchase and felt like they had to be user error.
