Using ADB to activate Onscreen Nav button on a phone that doesn't have it

I heard about Minimal ADB and want to know if there is a Line of code I can use to activate the On Screen Nav button on a Non rooted android 6.0 phone

I'm not sure this can be done without root. What device do you have?

I have a Gionee M5 Mini running Android 6.0 on a MTK6580 chipset...

I have looked since yesterday, and I can only find procedures that involves root access. This does make sense as you are changing basic ROM functions.

I've tried to root the device but it seems unrootable
