Using Factory Camera from lockscreen

Hello My wife just got the s7 edge she uses the lockscreen and a shortcut for the factory camera, She took like 50 pictures tonight and only 3 saved. We looked in gallery, google photos and google drive they where not there. We did a test picture later on it went back to the Gallery right away taking the photo with lockscreen on. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a micro-sd card installed? It could be an issue with the card.
