Using Google Assistant

Whenever my Pixel 2 lockscreen is on and I squeeze Google Assistant to ask a command like “turn on flashlight” it requires me to enter my passcode.

Is there anyway so I don’t have to enter a passcode?

Thanks Gary that worked! I had "Unlock with Voice Match" turned on thinking this is how it ought to be.

Avoiding entering a passcode to unlock..
