Using Google for reminders from the home button.

I have been setting reminders using OK Google. It confirms them and tells me it will remind me but then doesn't. Anyone else having this problem. I can use my Amazon devices but I thought I'd use my phone. If I go back into Google it shows the reminders but it never tells me at the time I told it to. Anyone else ideas? Thank you

Hmm. I've used "ok google" - just talking to the phone and set a reminder. It sets them for me and the reminder pops up. Wonder if there's a setting in reminders. do you have the Reminders iconon your home page on the phone?

Yes I just went through all my settings again and I have everything set to allow reminders and for Notifications. Just weird I'm not getting them I tried it twice today and no reminder.

can you show one of the reminders you did this way, that it didn't show? Screen shot of it? maybe google misunderstood to alert at a set time, etc or day, ec.

I just sent another one to go off at 4:30 p.m. and it did not.

Go into the Reminders / storage and clear the cache. Can you screen shot that 4:20 one?

I just ask Google where are my reminders were and then I took a screenshot.

I had already found the other ones and deleted them when they didn't go off. This is the last one that didn't go off we still there. As you can see it was set for 4:30 p.m. and I took the screenshot at 4:31 p.m. it had not alerted me

Ha ha... It was vegan veggie pizza. Unfortunately I didn't get a great picture for lighting in my kitchen is really bad at night.

So again today I've been trying to get my Google reminder to work. I'll ask Google to set a reminder and it does and tells me it will remind me but then doesn't. Anyone have any tips or tricks? I do have notifications allowed for reminders within my Google application. Thanks

OMG LOL hahaha wow. I've been in and out of Google for days rechecking all my settings Here There and Yonder. Notifications for reminders was on. So I just went through my app manager and in to Google that way and the whole Google account was shut off for notifications for everything. What the heck. So as I turned it on I got a whole bunch of reminder notifications haha. Now I'm not sure which things to leave on and which things to turn off because they were all off. Yikes
