YO,

How's it going guys. For those who got the hotspot feature how does it fare with streaming netflix, playing videogames online on your xbox 360/ps3? Are there any lag with the picture and animations? Is the audio synced with the action? Do you usually get get all bars for your netflix and can you get HD streaming with ease? How is it on your computer when streaming video and music? Would you guys recommend dropping my regular internet connection for the Evo's hotspot. I do play a lot of games on my 360 and stream on netflix constantly, so I wonder if this will over heat the phone or take a toll on the phone.

I look forward to hearing what you guys think or experienced. Thanks!!!

if you run a speedtest on your phone, whats your ping times, I think thats more important than just your max bandwidth speeds.

Yes ping times from what I hear are not good enough for fast paced online gaming. Though I have not personally tried.

Yea I just did some research and also read up on ping times. Thought I could save some money. Hah. Thanks guys!!

Yeah one has to remember that it's not really bandwidth that determines the performance of a game, it is ping. That is really the only thing online gaming uses.
