Using K-9 Email

I've started using k-9 instead of the HTC email for my aol, then gmail for my 2 gmails. I like them being in the same email program. My question is, how do I disable the gmail/mail app? I get notifications from both of them now.

You can disable notifications in the settings for the gmail app and turn off gmail syncing in your account settings.
