Using leaked 2.2 and have a red "!" logo when trying to boot Clockwork

I loaded the rooted 2.2 ROM (3.26.651.3) last week and haven't needed to load any new ROMS but wanted to today and when I booted up unrEVOked3 it was fine then tried to boot up clockwork recovery but got a red acclimation point in a triangle. Is there anyway to fix it? I want to get back to the regular clockwork screen so I can update new roms to it.

read the stickied post on how to root on windows. Skip to the part where is says flashing a custom recovery.

You might be able to do it in Rom Manager > First option (Flash clockwork recovery) {oh duh statement here}

Ok everytime I try to Flash Clockwork it doesn't let me as says "An error has occurred while attempting to run privilage commands!" wtf can I do?!

You unrooted when you applied that leaked OTA zip. You lost root.

Ok, so I removed the unrevoked3 file from my SD card using Astro and then downloaded Rom manager and got the flash on the Clockwork to work. So this means I'm rooted again and can download roms like CM6 if I wanted to? Can anyone confirm this for me?

You have to have the engineering boot loader. I think it's .76.2 or something like that. The non-engineering boot loader is .79.0 so if you have that one you don't have true root.

EDIT: maybe if it wasn't so SLOW on here today someone else could chime in and be more specific than me. I've been at work for 11 hours and my brain isn't working as well as it should be. LOL

I'm in the same position as you, we broke root when we updated, and we will have to re-root when it's possible to root from 2.2.

If anyone has any other answers, speak now because I don't think there is any other options.
