Using metal band from OG 360 on 2nd Gen?

Using metal band from OG 360 on 2nd Gen

I just bought the 42mm 360, but I'm really not a fan of the leather band. I want to swap it out with the metal band that came on my first gen 360 -- before I break out the tools, has anyone done this before? Does the band from the old 360 fit the new 42mm version?

D'oh, looks like the 1st gen has a 22mm band, and the new 42mm 360 has a 20mm band ... so, nope!
