Using my Droid on TV

So I saw an app that supposedly allows me to sync my LG Optimis elite to the flat screen by being on my wifi and my TV being on the network...so what I'd like to do, and I'm thinking this may be the easy way to do it, is take and run that app, and possibly play my fav games on the TV thru the phone...our plug in the Bluetooth adaptor to the TV and sync so I use the phone as a controller pad and then the TV as the display...even of it's still on the phone too, but to have my Need For Speed Shift, Battlefield Bad Company, Shadow Gun, Dead Space...and such sent to the TV and I could a so much more...as of now, concurring that I'm so picky over my games, and to have this capability of playing just about every game I want on it pretty much makes me owning a gaming console useless...now I don't want to hear crap about me feeling that way, it's just my opinion. I'm happy with what I have,I don't game a while lot so for ME, it works.,,

Anyway, what would be the best way for me to display the games and videos, and basically everything else to the TV.anyone else done this?
