Please tell me if I'm wrong! I'm sure that I used to be able to take a photo by pointing the camera at the subject, touching the screen at the point that I wanted it to focus, and then it would auto focus and take the shot.
Now I have to focus it as above and then touch the camera shoot button.

Have I gone mad or can someone please help?
Thanks

I have never heard of that. I tried it and it just focuses.

Well, after focusing you can say SHOOT, and it'll take the pic. Otherwise you need to touch both buttons. Always have.

You can set up Voice Commands as well for taking the picture. On Jellybean, open up S-Voice then open Settings. Scroll down to Control Apps, and turn the switch on. Then press on that box, and you can set up whether you can answer calls, snooze alarm, take pictures, and music control with your voice.
