Using UCCW on Nexus 7

New to Android but not OS/filesystems.

I'm trying to use a custom font with UCCW. It asks to put the fonts in the sdcard/fonts folder. Obviously the Nexus 7 doesn't have a SD card. Is there a way to do this without rooting?
