Anyone else having connectivity issues? I connect to the PC and it initially connects as an "installer". I see a window populate that asks me if I want Verizon to install its host of garbage software. I emphatically decline (I'm already Verizon's bish). Then a few minutes after I connect, the USB "found new device" populates yet again. This happens roughly every few minutes. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and install Verizon's drivers to see if that helps.

Oh and apparently there was an issue with the Note 2.... Fix for Samsung Galaxy Note II that won’t connect to PC via USB with Unknown Device Error! | Tutorials, Articles , SEO and Hosting Lessons by Dan Richard

It's all about the drivers. These aren't just USB PenDrives anymore, and they speak in a more sophisticated 'comptuer lingo' than they used to :P

I found this information from another source. But unfortunately, the code doesn't work on the Note 3.

1. Type the following but don't press send *#22745927. This should let you enable the special hidden dialer menu settings. Enable settings
Note: All over the net I read were people said to just type a number sequence and it would let you access special menus, yada yada, but it never did anything for me. I just found the above code about 10 minutes ago. Afterwards those codes worked

2. Type *#7284#, select the Qualcomm USB Settings and choose MTP+ADB. I originally chose just the MTP but it did nothing for me, YMMV

I did a little research on one of my laptops, removed all USB mobile drivers (HTC, iPhone, and even the Samsung driver that I installed the other day). I started the whole process from scratch, and thus far my 2nd laptop has not had USB dropout. My main laptop, I have yet to get it corrected as I drop out maybe once every few minutes.

Once you guys get this working you'll be amazed how fast things transfer to internal storage
