Using Verizon Message App

How do I save MMS pictures/videos to my SD card while using the Verizon Message + app?

Select the photo to be full screen and then touch the 3 dot menu at the top right. Select "Save to Gallery". The default location for photos should be the SD card and the photo will be in the VZPics folder.

The default location is to my device instead of the SD card. Been trying to figure out how to change that

After installing the SD card, did you go to settings>storage>mount?

Yes I go there now it gives me 2 options, "format" and "unmount"

Did you format it after install? Do you have any data on it now?

In the camera, is the SD card set as default storage?

Yes it was formatted and SD card is selected under the camera app for location. BTW thank you for helping

No problem, but at this point I've not really been much help.

Do your camera photos actually go to the SD card?

Do you see a VZPics folder on the SD card?

Yes they do. Worst case scenario is me doing them manually using "my files"

I'm sure there is an answer, it's just puzzling that we haven't stumbled onto it by now.

Looks like the only way is by manually moving them over to the SD Card...kinda sux

I went at this one more time this afternoon just to see if I could come up with anything new. Went all the way back and started over from the beginning to make sure I didn't miss anything. Well, I have to admit I made a mistake. Not the first I've ever made and I'm sure not the last, just ask my wife.

I misread the storage location for my photos, mine are being saved to the device the same as yours. Sorry for the wild goose chase. I just didn't want you to move forward believing you had an issue. It is apparently made to only save to the device storage.

That's quite alright. Throughout the day I've been searching around n the only way is by saving to the device and than manually transferring to the SD card.
