Using VISIONary to unlock Froyo hotspot capability?

I've downloaded VISIONary to temporarily gain Superuser access. Can anyone walk me through the process of unlocking the native Froyo hotspot capabilities?

Does anyone know how to tell if VISIONary has rooted my G2?
