V20 USB C Audio

I've always been a fan of the V20s Quad DAC. The only way I was able to live without it when I bought my Pixel 2XL was because the Pixel with it's external DAC in the dongle was pretty good. It was even better using the HTC dongle but the best USB C audio was by using the Razer dongle. With the Razer dongle the Pixel was very near the the V20 sound and I didn't have to use high impedance equipment to get full output.

Today I decided to try out the Razer dongle on the V20. The Razer dongle actually sounds much better with low impedance earbuds than using the same buds through the jack. The audio sounded just as clean but with more punch and fuller sound signature. When I get a chance I want to compare how the dongle stacks up against the high impedance output. For those of you that only have low impedance buds or cans I recommend buying the dongle if you want a bit more output.

Are you saying the dongle adds a boost of power?
Wow! I can't imagine needing more with the built in preamp.
Can you tell me what music app you use?

It adds a boost compared to the
Normal output of the quad DAC.

Poweramp app for stored files. Spotify for streaming.
