V30 2 year warranty ?

If LG goes with a two year during pre-order will that impact your decision to buy the V30 or is it irrelevant?
Not that we should buy a phone just for its warranty or any single feature for that matter. Just wondering if the two year warranty will help ease the mind in making the purchase. Especially for those of you soured on LG based on past reliability history.

Haven't heard of it having a 2 year but I haven't been following that. I thought most were 1 year?

Not saying it does....they offered to double the G6 warranty recently for US customers.
Just wondering if that would influence a buying decision.

No. I actually just signed my daughter's G6 up for the 2nd year.

The Moto X Pure is the first phone I've kept past 1 year (great phone).

It's a plus but not a deciding factor

sounds like me. I was a mess after the note 7. Back and forth between s7edge and v20 . Tried Nexus 6P. Note 5. Currently at 8+.

Doubtful unless it goes real bad as in doesn't hold a charge.

A 2 year warranty would actually be a significant factor if one were to buy a phone as a daily for the long-term.

LG still has its bootloop woes rather fresh in some minds, so it has to prove that their phones can last for the entire warranty period.

My V20 will lose its warranty in a few months. So far, so good.
