V30 not backing up to Google?

Had anyone encountered this, with any phone? I factory reset and went to set it up again and there were NO backups from my V30 at all. I've been using it since the 5th there should be a backup by now right?

Mine are up. But I'm a case of a phone transfer of apps which may have also transferred some setting for backup. Have you thoroughly checked your google backup settings?

Under backup and reset if I click Google account, it says backup to Google drive disabled by admin. However it says that in my G6 as well, yet it's backing up just fine as recently as this morning. I chatted with Google support and the drive backup disabled by admin message is a known bug in nougat for some users but she insisted backups should still be working despite the error message. I now have to wait for a higher team to get back to me.

yeah - mine says that too, but works.

Maybe some other settings one level up from the google backup settings? Backup turns off in general?
