Working from home, but I need to remote in to my computer at the office. Thought I could use desktop mode to connect to my TV and use Windows Remote Desktop + Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Kind of works, but can't resize the Remote Desktop window, so it fails to give me the whole screen affect I was looking for. Also tried to use Zoom for work meetings. That also works, but still looks like mobile Zoom, rather than Desktop Zoom. Have to remove 2nd screen to access the USB C port. Can't charge while I'm using it, and desktop mode drains the battery. Tried to use my wireless charging dock, but I had to put it on the dock upside down, which worked, but it does not charge faster than the battery is draining, so I still lose battery, and with my Zoom meetings, I show as upside down in the video feed. I wonder if it's possible to use a powered, USB C hub with HDMI to use desktop mode without losing battery power.
Basically, it works. I like the idea, but it's not a common enough feature that all the most useful apps have built in support. And the battery issue. But it does have potential.
