Vehicle Mode/Smart Actions

I do not have a car dock. Is it possible to set up a smart action to launch vehicle mode by double tapping the home button?

Should be.
When I connect to my car via BT mine goes into vehicle mode.
It's a SmartAction I set up.

Yes. I am wondering if a custom trigger can be the double tapping of the Home button and how to set that up.
