We've been requested by Google (Play Store) to produce one of the following documents to be able to keep our Google play store account open, before all and its content are deleted?

I’m at the stage with Google Support, now, where they have been requested in our email support thread, this part of content (which is in bold as "below)";

"Submit an organization document such as a government issued certificate of business registration, certificate of incorporation, a business credit report."

Bear in mind we are sole traders T/AS in the UK and submit annual tax returns to HMRC for the past 15 years or so, and none of the above in bold applies to a UK Sole Traders only to Limited Companies?!

Any advice on what to send or say now? So far, I have sent Google, my passport, my Unique Tax Reference number (UTR), with this year's tax references submitted to HMRC, my D.U.N.S number; all of which they are rejecting and saying, at the moment “does not comply”?!

I’m a small business and I submit my accounts to HMRC myself annually.

I've asked Google in my email if they are no longer supporting “Sole Traders” and only “LTD Companies”, and they just simply replied requesting exactly the same as in bold above.

I've emailed Google Play Support explaining that a lot of time and effort has gone into my Google Play App Account over the 15 years, even if it's not been that pro-active, I still would like to keep it?.

The deadline has been set to produce and comply with their requirements, however they are not offering me in layman terms what's acceptable from a UK Sole Trader, other than the content highlighted above!?

I hope someone here may have experienced the same or similar issue, and might be able to assist me in resolving what they will accept from a UK Sole Trader, so I can keep my Google Play Store Business developers account open?

Regards in advance
Gary

Android Central forums are run by volunteers who have no affiliation with Google. You probably would be best served by consulting an accountant or a solicitor.
