Noticed 5G icon appearing on occasion after an update restart last night, indicating Verizon Nationwide 5G, service is active in my home area near Seattle, but only inlow band "faux 5G", not high speed ultrawide mmwave).
Speedtest reached 79.5 Mbps down, just slightly higher than my fastest Verizon LTE measurements. But it's sporadic, flips between 4G and 5G as I move around my home, don't know if that's antenna related or what, since Verizon's DSS low band 5G shares radio spectrum with their 4G. Could be variability at the cell side.
Either way, I'm not very excited about incrementally faster mobile data, anyway, since Verizon's 4G has been more than adequate for my occasional streaming and downloading when off WiFi.
