Verizon automatically pushing up upgrade dates

I had a Verizon upgrade in the middle of October, I checked today and the upgrade was allowed starting September 13th. I am not sure up to what day Verizon pushed the upgrade, but if you have an upgrade coming up in the next month or two, check your account.

My contract is until April 2016 so I have a ways to go. My dad was eligible in August so I can upgrade but there isn't anything I consider superior to my Turbo, yet.

Interesting. Mine was Feb 2016 now says January 2016. What do you suppose they're up to with this?

UPDATE: Even more interesting. The above info is from my VZW phone app. If I go into my account via my PC it says my original date. Weird.

UPDATE AGAIN: now it's back to my original upgrade date.
