So I gave my sister in law my G2 on Verizon when I upgraded to the G3 back in August. Of course, not only did she only pay me $20, she destroyed it this last weekend. I don't have the full story, but it involves someone running over it with a car (and of course it's not her fault).
Before I even heard about it, she goes to Verizon and they tell her it's $100 through insurance for the deductible, but instead she gets a Droid Maxx for $40 I guess. (She is on her parents account and could just charge it, I doubt it was only $40 as they just left for Arizona and won't get the bill for a few weeks)
My question is, can I send it off for insurance, then when I get it, sell it? I would imagine I can get $250 for a brand new (well refurbished) G2.
Has anyone done this? I am just not sure if the insurance attaches it to her line or if anyone can activate it.
Thanks in advance!!
