I am having strange WiFi problems with my Note 2, I've never heard of anything like this.
It will only connect to 5ghz wireless. Whenever I try to connect to 2.4ghz wireless it gets to the 'obtaining IP address' phase and then just goes to saved. I think I come across something though, I went into advanced settings and the IP address it shows is '192.168.1.X' my network is '192.168.0.X' so how do I stop my phone from trying to connect to the wrong network? It's not just on my network it's every 2.4ghz network I try to connect to but 5ghz works just fine and uses the proper '192.168.0.X' network.
I have not done a factory reset, I'm trying to avoid losing everything but if that's what it takes I will. Before though does anybody have any ideas?
