Verizon Galaxy S and AT&T Galaxy S Captivate Hard Drive Swap?

I managed to hard brick my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S Captivate, but I still have a working Verizon Samsung Galaxy S phone. Is it possible to install the physical hard drive from the Verizon Galaxy S in my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S Captivate and use AT&T service with it? I am assuming this will not work, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks!
