Verizon Galaxy s3 isn't going into custom recovery

So, yesterday when i booted into custom recovery everything was fine, i had to restore an old backup because I attempted to downgrade my CyanogenMod because the Google play store isn't working and i skipped quite a few steps. So i did the restore and everything was going good but the play store still isn't working. Running on the CyanogenMod i cant "uninstall updates" to the Google play store so I'm afraid if i delete it i wont be able to get it back, I've also tried many other methods including: wiping cache, deleting data, and making sure everything is enabled. I logged out of my google account after i backed up my files to try and fix the problem but I cant sign back in. So now I'm stuck with: No Google play, No Google account, i cant run any bought apps, i cant update apps, and i cant restore my phone back to where it was. Any help would be so much appreciated.
