Verizon Galaxy S5 software reset

Hey

Just bought a phone from Verizon, I bought the handset on its own, with no connection.

The phone came loaded with verizon version software, it loads up with verizon icons and has built in apps.

Is it possible to delete this version and just install the standard software?

Not unless you root, but I'm not up on where the S5 stands as far as if it's been done yet. You can disable most of the Verizon bloatware via the application manager but you can't get it all.
