Got it yesterday on my S8. All seems good except no icon badges.

In the notifications menu you have the option of no icon badges, badges without numbers, and badges with numbers. Doesn't matter about badges with numbers though because no matter how many emails or texts I get it only displays "1" on the badge.

is there any guarantee that unlocked S8's will get the update if you're on Verizon? I am thinking back to when I first bought and set my unlocked Galaxy S8 up. The tech at the Verizon store did not recognize my unlocked Galaxy S8 as being compatible with Verizon's network. I had to call the toll free # and they sent me a SIM card in the mail. But I wonder if Verizon's policy is that the Unlocked S8 is not compatible with their network and they won't be releasing the Oreo update. Am I just being paranoid???

I've received security patch updates and I have an unlocked s8 on Verizon. I guess unlocked phones are last in line though.
