Verizon just pushed Froyo to my phone.

Of course it failed to install the two times I've tried so far. Anyone else had it hit their phone?

That being said, what are the advantages of Froyo? And should I be so fast to let it be pushed to my fascinate. I'm not rooted.

This. Plus, Froyo has been out for a while now.

I had to flash mine back to factory DL01. Verizon then loaded ED28 and then the Froyo update. Kept getting the previous install failed message. If you are rooted, try unrooting first. Flashing to factory removes everything. Make sure you back everything up first.

The update worked fine on both my Fascinates...no issues at all.
