Verizon kickstand case/holster (or how I may be dumb)

So I've been getting irritated because the holster has been scratching the poo out of my screen protectors...I've gone through a pack in a month. I couldn't figure out why it would it would be doing that when I discovered that the phone slides in much easier upside down.

Is that the way it is meant to go in?

Yeah sorry. Didn't realize it would censor and wig out like that.

I have it and I noticed that it fits fine going in either right side up or down, however, it never caused a problem with my screen protector because my screen protector was the case fit that doesn't completely cover the screen.

There's a holster? Oh, that's the part I threw away. I just wanted the stand.

Yes it is supposed to go in face down or screen so that it does not show

This just happened to me, last week. I got the GNEX and holster on launch day. So, I made it quite some time, before getting a scratch. I also noticed how much easier it is, if you slide it in top first.

I attributed it to the fact that I have the Extended Battery. The CS Rep at Verizon swore up and down that the case fits just fine with the extended battery. It doesn't. It fits, but not 100% correctly. So, I truly assumed this was the reason the phone had a little resistance, going into the holster...

Haha they told me the same as well... But I took it to a whole new level and took the holster case off and sanded it down towards the bottom, where you could see the reason it was no longer fitting. Took a while but I sanded and buffed it and it fits much better now . Plastic in the back is pretty thin now but hey, as long as it still fits in the case I don't care.

Yes, I'm that crazy.
