Verizon Lg G3 ART

I know that lollipop is rolling out right now for Verizon but I'm not ready to update yet. I have been thinking about switching to ART runtime but have seen multiple different sources saying that it does not work well with Verizon's G3 but they are all from 4+ months ago and the g3 has had some updates since then. So, I guess my question would be, does ART work with Verizon's G3 with the most recent updates?

haven't tried it yet myself, but i've heard that the issues still exist. I'd just wait until the update rolls out.

I would wait, but it won't hurt to test yourself. You can always revert back to dalvik.

It didn't work well for my Verizon G3 on 4.4.2. This was on software version 12B, which is the latest official kit Kat on Verizon.

I am still running 4.4.2 also on VZW and I just tried switching over to ART to check it out today. The phone got really hot, wouldn't really run anything, then it shut off and I had to remove the battery and replace it to get it to turn back on. I went right back to DALVIK and it's back to normal. So I would say VZW still had some issues with ART...

I'm currently using ART on my Verizon LG g3... After initial start up it got hot but once it settled, it's been stellar.. Super quick and haven't had a problem. My g3 was freezing before but not now.
