Verizon lg g6 on tmobile?

I am wondering if a Verizon LG G6 will work properly with tmobile. I know its will work but I have found conflicting websites about it having lte band 12. Also would it still get updates.

Not sure if it would update over the air but you could probably update using LG Bridge.

Yeah I don't believe you'll get the OTA as Mike said.. but it should work network wise.

I just brought a brand new Verizon G6 to T-Mobile with the promise from them that it will work flawlessly. So far, it has not. It picks up a great 4G LTE signal upon boot or network setting change, but after 30 seconds or immediately upon sending a call or navigating to a web address, it is forced down to 3G/HSPA. My wife's Verizon LG V10 has the exact same issues, while my daughters iphone 7 purchased from T-Mobile holds the 4G connection with no issues. Everything points to compatibility as far as hardware and bands go, but no dice. Seems to me like its an authentication issue since both phones can see the Network but are kicked off as soon as they try to use it. Also, you will not get wi-fi calling with a non-TMo device with your previous carriers ROM, regardless of whether your phone supports it. I can't speak for any other ROMS on either of these issues. I have spent lots of time with tech support and adjusted every setting that can be with no resolve.

I know you said you never got it working. Has anything changed since? I am trying to add a VZW LG G6 to TMO as well and experiencing the same issues... I can toggle airplane mode and the phone gets great LTE service and I can browse the web for about 30 seconds and then it drops me all the way back to 2G. Unfortunately TMO support is trying to blame the phone itself as not being compatible.
