Verizon Messages+ & Galaxy Note 4

Is there any way or any app that will automatically turn Verizon messages off at night? I like to use the pop up feature, but when it comes on at night it lights up my whole room hahaha. I need to be able to receive phone calls at night but that is all I need. Thanks in advance.

Had the same problem and discovered that putting the phone on it's screen at night solved it.

Thanks for your quick reply. However, when I am traveling I use my phone as my alarm clock. Face down won't work.

Why won't face down work? I use my phone as my alarm clock every day and it is always face down while I'm sleeping.

Because if it is face down I can not see it as a clock.

Do you keep your display on? If not it's about as easy to turn the phone enough to view the time and set it back down as to turn the screen on to view the time.

Just go into the settings at night and turn the pop up off simple or turn off the pop up over lockscreen you have those 2 options very simple enjoy!
