Verizon messages plus issue since pie

I can not get my phone to alert me when I get a new text message since update. I did a factory reset after update.
Sounds is showing. The app is showing....

You may have to check all your settings. I had o put the Google message app to sleep. My Msgs+ is working just fine. Good luck!
