Verizon messaging app and reboots

Has anyone downloaded the Verizon text message app and started having more random reboots than before? Ever since the update my phone will sometimes reboot not as often as some, but still quite annoying when I'm in the middle of a phone call.....what I found interesting, was that I was in Savannah Georgia for 2 weeks for work and didn't notice the phone rebooting at all. I come back to Birmingham and the reboots start again. I noticed after installing the VW text app that my phone started rebooting more often. I uninstalled it to see if that was the cause. I'll give it a few days to see what happens. Just wondered it anyone else noticed the same thing.
