Anybody notice how the 64gb turbo has a different camera ring with steps in it and is more recessed. The regular 32gb ones are smooth and almost flush with the back of the phone? Any other differences people are noticing?

The 64gb is just a tad thicker so that's why the camera layout is like that

To be fair, the 32GB Ballistic Nylon has the same camera. Its more about the backing type than the memory amount.

Ah just wondering why they made them so much different. Anyone know how to set your "home" screen? Like when I hit the home button it take me to the very left screen of my 3 screens. I want the middle screen as my main home screen

I don't think anybody has found a solution for this yet. They did find a way to add screens by dragging app icons to the right.

Get Nova Launcher. Best thing you can do to any new android phone.

Re: 64gb vs 32gb

Don't like adding launchers I prefer the stock launcher.

Understandable. But with an added launcher, you can have that middle home screen. With stock, you just have to get used to swiping right now.

I resisted adding Nova to my 2013 Moto X, since I was generally happy with stock and wanted to avoid redundancy. However, I just added it last month, and find no reason to regret installing it. Runs super smoothly, and no dual personality once you set it as the default.

I've tried all the different launchers and don't really care for any of them.

Re: 64gb vs 32gb

The single best reason I add Nova is that I can swipe down the notification panel from mid-screen. Don't have to stretch my thumb all the way up to the top of the screen. Stock launcher on these are nice though.

If I got any launcher it would be Google Now but I prefer stock Android launcher.

Nova is a programmable version of the android launcher what could be better.

You might not like this solution, but it's a work around if you don't to install an alternate launcher like Nova or Apex (both excellent). Here's the work around: just accept that the 1st screen is your home screen. Set it up the way you like, and move everything else off of it. This doesn't give you the flexibility of rapidly re-assigning a another screen as a home screen, but in my usage, I only ever have one single screen that is my "go-to" screen, and everything else is ancillary. Good luck!

Re: 64gb vs 32gb

This ^^^^^^

PS. Moto was very fond of using the far left screen as the default home screen on the old round of droids like my RAZR M. Not sure why.
