Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo disabled command center

I will try to post a couple of pictures, I have not use the command center since I got the phone but it says its second in line for most battery usage. I disabled it just to see if it makes much difference.
My battery life is fine but I don't see having it use battery if I am NOT using the app. Any comments welcome

Just checked my battery stats and it's not even in the top 10 after 6hrs. Did you do the system update?

Beats me but i disabled it. My phone just fully charged (gotta head to work n a bit) so ill be watching the battery, its my first shift back at work w the new turbo, so we will see how it lasts on a 12 hour shift.. Well 13 since time changes lol

Slightly off topic but I just noticed that WiFi has used 9% of battery and "on" for 8 hours. The only problem is I've had WiFi off until the last 30 minutes. What am I missing? To stay on topic, command center has never shown on my battery percentage.... Weird

Go to your wifi section and hit the menu key and I think it's advanced options. There's something in there called "Always Scanning" or something like that, disable that. That'll keep wifi permanantly off from now on.

As far as Command Center is concerned, it doesn't even show up on my battery stats. I'm post-update. Strange.

I hate to ask but what is the command center app? I probably should know or maybe not.

I am following these threads to get a feel of the reactions to the Turbo before opening my wallet to replace the Razr M which is suffering a slow death. I need to take it out and shot it.

Command center is a fancier Circles Widget.

It showed up on my battery stats the same way, as the #2 battery hog, but I restarted the phone and haven't seen it since.

If the command center app is eating battery hit the weather part and go to settings and stop it scanning your current location I think that's what's killing the battery it keeps scanning your location for the current weather

No issues with my Command Center eating battery. I have location on for the weather part. The command center's battery consumption doesn't even show up in the top ten apps/services that the battery is using.
