Verizon Note 3 spontaneous shutdowns

My N3 just started shutting down spontaneously today. Full battery, will just suddenly power off to black screen and power button is non responsive. As if it's a dead battery. I have to plug it in to bring it back to life. At which point it will show me a full battery again.

Happens during normal use. Typing an email, while in Chrome, watching a video, or sending a text.

Any way to diagnose?

Look at the widgets that are running & turn them off & see what happens! I had a widget that did almost the same thing right out of the gate! Could also be a launcher or some other app.

All widgets removed. All apps closed. Still randomly rebooting with battery showing 85-90%, and after it shuts down won't turn on unless plugged in. Then battery says 0% but quickly jumps to 90+%.

Still in my 14 day window....return it?

Looking at Battery settings, "NearbyServices" consuming 18-20% of battery. I have watched battery meter drop from 95 down to 81 % in less than 10 minutes.

They swapped a new battery for me. Problem still happening.
