Verizon Note 9 Feb system update

My VZ Note 9 was suffering from the infamous "Apps won't update from Google Play" for the last month. I tried all the standard fixes and none worked. I saw the system update at the start of the weekend and reluctantantly started it up. It took it 3 days to finish the system update. Thru even a few restarts. Device was getting real wonky this morning so I tried another restart. Viola! System update completed and Google Play began working on updates again. Dodged a bullet!
