I just ordered this phone and I will be using on Verizon wireless. Is there anything I should know before putting my sim card in it? As far as I know I can just put the SIM card in and it should work right away. I already have VoLTE on my account but wasn't sure if there's anything else I had to do.

Well you apparently haven't heard about the initial problems Verizon users have faced with the op6t. I suggest you do a search for the OnePlus 6t and the term "CDMA_LESS"

I did read a few things about it but it seems to have been cleared up. I have used a CDMA less device (Sony xa2) and the service was actually excellent. Never dropped a call or had issues streaming music for long drives. I assume my SIM card should be okay since I used it on a device similar to it

Yes things seemed to have settled down. The problem has been with receiving SMS messages. Some have had to call CS (tier 2) to get cdma_less added to their account. Others just activated a new device on an existing line and just swapped Sims to get things working.

I would assume since the other device I had worked with no issues that this one should be the same hopefully. I know I have a fairly newer Sim and I have HD voice already enabled. I never technically activated the CDMA less feature on my account but the Sony work flawlessly so I'm assuming this one would.
