Verizon promotions

When does Verizon usually change out their promotions? I talked to a sales person last month before I was ready to commit to switching and she said there would probably be some good ones in November when I was ready. My contract is up and I can switch at any moment, but I am still waiting to see what Verizon is going to pull out for their sales this month.

Does anyone have a good idea? Will it be closer to Black Friday?

They do it to always say something else on their ads. The more promotions they portray the more people will view them as a better, friendlier company, that's actually why they changed their logo too. Usually when you call every month or so though you can get either more data or discounts for being a "loyal Verizon customer".

Well, I'm not a loyal customer, yet. I am on Sprint and will be switching to a new carrier soon. I'm leaning towards Verizon, but not limited to them.

If you can make it to Thanksgiving, that's when you'll see some new ones. Right now, the $300 trade in offer expires on 11/25. You'll see something new after that with rumors and leaks coming out about a week before.

Aside from the $300 trade in for new lines, I just got the G4 for an additional $100 off, plus lg's current $200 rebate offer. So you can get into that phone better than free. That's about the best combination of offers I've seen currently. Not sure what Black Friday will bring.

Are you looking for a phone or just a plan? With a Moto X Pure, you do not need a new phone unless you want one.

Just a plan. I don't need a phone and I was really hoping for like a double data deal for the promotion or something. I know they have done that before.

Verizon is a little bit more random about their data promotions. Sometimes, it is based on location; other times you'll see national deals. If Verizon is going to do anything, it will be at the end of the year around the holidays. The good news is that Verizon has allowed customers to switch into any current offers. If you can handle their current plans, it is probably safe to switch. If they come out with a double data promotion, you should be able to switch into that. At least, that is what Verizon allowed the last time they offered double data.
