Verizon rom on Sprint Hero?

I have a Sprint Hero that was flashed to Verizon, and I use it on Pageplus cellular. Is it possible for me to just put a Droid Eris rom on my phone, Pageplus uses Verizon's network. I understand that the Verizon Eris, and Sprint Hero are the same phone.

yes you can but you need to root access your phone and then you can flash whatever rom you want and there is a verizon eris rom available for the hero
