Last I heard, Droid 2 WE and Droid Pro is the same phone. If it runs on stock Gingerbread, I'm sure the people who've already bought a Droid 2 are going to be super pissed.

If they Droid Pro realluy had those specs I would consider it. But since it is essentially the Droid 2 sans keyboard w/ a faster processor I'm going to pass. In fact, looking ahead at all these upcoming phones, they only one that looks interesting is the Fascinate. I'm not in the market for world phones and its no telling how much they're gonna charge you for that.

Hmm not all of those specs are what was originally rumored so I wouldn't trust them so much. Most reasonable and likely specs rumored so far are 1.3Ghz CPU, 10MP camera, and Android 2.2 with release in November. Don't know how accurate that is. This is what sucks about rumors, it's all speculation.

I just got my D2 coming from a BB Storm. I do travel out of the country, and need a global phone. So, I am going to return the D2, and wait for the Pro. BUT if BB arrives with a similar phone I guess I have a choice.

the droid pro is a d2 thats a world phone so it has a sim card slot like the bbs that vzw has, they are cdma and gsm i think its called quad band.
