Mine keeps saying "No service
Selected network (AT&T) not available."

I'm on my second GS3, and they've both done it. Only way to make the notification go away is to reboot the phone. I've also tried a new SIM card.

Am I the only one? Tech support took down my suggestion for AT&T roaming...but it seems the phone should not try to connect to an impossible network haha.

I think that Verizon blocked T-Mobile and AT&T from working on the Verizon GS3
Try going into settings-more settings-mobile networks-global data roaming acess-deny data roaming acess :)
if that doesnt work, also do this:
after doing the above, press the back key and press network mode- and choose "LTE / CDMA " instead of global.
Hope this helps!

The Verizon world phone will not work on AT&T or T-Mobile. The GSM frequencies are different.

Yes you will only get EDGE speeds because those are the only frequencies that the Verizon Galaxy S3 variant is equipped to handle with domestic carriers, the rest of the world uses different frequencies than the us so that wont be a problem if you go abroad
