Do you guys recommend it? I'm returning my G3 because I need some money and the battery wasn't as good as my G2.
And I might visit swappa. Any input?

Yes I recommend it. M8 is also very good. I have read some bad reports on the new G3. I am also impressed with the MotoX. Best bet is to check out the new owner threads for each phone in each phone's forum. If you can change carriers, I especially like the Sony on T-Mobile.

Talk to the local store about the plan they have to lower your monthly bill by the amount they'll charge to buy the phone. Depending on how many lines you have, it is a good plan with no contract extension.

You probably want to edit your thread title to something like "Should I trade up for the S5?"
