Verizon sim is saying not supported have iphone x with verizon sim card

[Android Central Question]

Have two iphones that have verizon sim cards. When we open them it's says sim card not supported. Will not allow me to register the phones. Have tryed using a foreign sim card and does not work do I need to use a particular one
