Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant

My White LG G2 isn't being recognized by the Upgrade Assistant and I want to update my phone to Lollipop. I'm not actually on Verizon so I'm not getting the OTA. Is their any other way for me to get the Update? (The Lg upgrade tool doesn't have my model)

As long as it's a vs980 model, just download the KDZ file and do a factory image of the device... This will so a complete wipe of all data and return it to out of box state. Look on XDA for the return to stock threads in the G2 area for detailed instructions.

Be warned, I have no experience with the white model, and when KK was released several white models had issues with update, so there maybe something unique about the white model.

Also, if you do this you will need to bypass the Verizon activation script, there is a special process for that as well but Google will serve you well with this.
