The rep says that a phone with a locked bootloader cannot be activated, he uses the present tense. My Droid Incredible has an unlocked bootloader and is running Cyanogenmod and aside from a strange issue with the market not recognizing my carrier it runs on Verizon's network just fine. That makes me think one of two things is going on. Either this particular rep doesn't know what he's talking about, or Big Red is planning some kind of massive crackdown on all root users.

EDIT-Looks like it was all just a misunderstanding. It's all good now.

Seems like they've changed their tune. I still don't think they'll be releasing an HTC that's not locked down.
