Verizon Support and Protection, Non Effective

Is anyone else having problems with the app for Verizon Support and Protection? Everytime I try to run a health check up the app says it can't be completed because of Android 7.0 restrictions. That's all well and good but if it's not effective what's the use of having it? And what should I replace it with?
